Product Researcher and Designer
My first year at DIJGTAL was largely focussed on primary and secondary research: owning monthly rounds of usability testing to extract and report insights that led to continual growth across both product and marketing projects plus secondary research to inform business strategies across multiple clients.
In the subsequent year, having established myself as a client specific, subject matter expert, I took position as both a researcher and designer. In addition to research, as a designer my responsibilities included high fidelity designs, critiques and iterations, client meetings, roadmap planning, communication, documentation and delivery to developers.
Primary UX Designer + UX Research Advisor
My relationship with Art Scene by Budget Collector started with design contracts and has evolved to become an ongoing contribution I find highly rewarding. As well as design as needed, I regularly advise on product strategy, user research best practices and user-business goal alignment. Beyond this, I provide ongoing mentorship to the Art Scene team in areas such continuity across a design system, developer hand-off and overall product evolution best practices.
UX Designer / Strategist
I worked with Matrax to redesign a comprehensive, custom CRM digital renewal for cross Canadian labour union. Product evolution to introduce dynamic search, region and role specific news feeds, job board with sort and filtering, payment processing, messaging and task management for distinct user groups across a parent and multiple child sites.
Agile methodology with daily client meeting as well as regular in depth workshops with a variety of stakeholder groups. Informed handoffs and clear communication working in tandem with remote Development team across multiple time zones.
